Whilst doing some research about my mother's life with barrage balloons I came across your site.

Her name was Dorothy (Doff) Hunt, LACW 2027976, 904/5 Squadron E Flight.

I have an album of her photos and wondered if they are of interest to you.

Some formal group pictures of training (at Morecambe I think) and then on sites at Manchester and then Tilbury Docks.

My brother and I are very proud of her, more so as we never knew her. She died in a British Military Hospital in Germany in 1951.

I was 4 and my brother 2, but we have the pictures!

As webmaster I consider this archive of pictures of her life in the Barrage Balloon Units to be one of the best

I have ever seen!! John Hunt and his brother Grev should certainly be proud of her!!
