J203547 Leading Aircraftman John William Hufton
The Bullock family are wondering if you could help their research. Grandfather John William Hufton worked on
Barrage Balloons in the 1930’s and I believe entered the war still working with them and then
transferred after 3 years to become a driver overseas. His service number is J203547
and I am led to believe his rank was LAC.
LAC Hufton was based in London in the early 30’s but this is as much information as I have.
The photograph attached is one of the only ones I have of him during the War
