This is a picture of the Duke of Edinburgh meeting three members of the Barrage Balloon Club when they celebrated the 80th Anniversary of the
R.A.F. in February 2005 at The Victory Club, London. Shaking hands with the Duke of Edinburgh is Fred Tyson an ex Barrage Balloon Squadron
Member from 985 and 986 Barrage Balloon Squadrons.
To his right is Eileen Hollidge an ex-Balloon Operator and next to her is Marjorie (Midge) Gosset another ex-Balloon Operator. Does anyone
recognise these former RAF Balloon Operators from their service days?
